The location is ideal for those who enjoy the outdoor life. Within easy striking distance of Perth-y-Pia lie the challenging peaks of the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons, one of the most elaborate cave systems in Europe, and the beautiful fishing and canoeing waters of the Rivers Wye and Usk.
The area is also a haven for nature lovers. The rich variety of landforms has given rise to a number of valuable habitats, several of which have been designated National Nature Reserves.
We are able to recommend a wide range of outdoor pursuits using local, experienced and qualified instructors.
Activities in the area include walking, orienteering, cycling and mountain biking, caving, pony trekking, canoeing, abseiling, climbing and fishing.
